Well, when you stress your body produces excess cortisol and this cortisol is responsible for excess fat being stored in the body. And cortisols favorite place to settle? On your tummy! Your diet also plays a big role in the amount of fat that’s being stored in your tummy. Good food to include are: Whole grains, lean meats like fish and chicken, Vegetables, beans and other pulses, eggs, low fat diary and nuts.
